Welcome

Lois Rosen

I’m Lois Rosen and I have loved to read since the days that my mother took me on the trolley to check out picture books from the Yonkers Public Library. If only she and my father were alive now to see my two shelves filled with journals that have published my poems and stories. I wish they could see the dedication to them in my first poetry book, Pigeons.

Lois Rosen Nice and LoudI’m delighted to say my second poetry collection, Nice and Loud, published by Tebot Bach Publications and released this September, is now available at The Book Bin in Salem, Oregon, online attebotbach.org, and on Amazon. I’m also writing tales that take place in an imaginary town called Mint, close to my Oregon home. I hope to weave them into a novel.

Thank you for stopping by, please wander about. I will be updating this site really soon. In the meantime you can read about me, my books, and my other projects. You can also contact me through my Contact Page or connect with me on Facebook, just click here.

Like the birds known for survival and returning to their homes, much of my writing goes back to family and food of my childhood like latkes, herring in cream sauce, and seven layer cake.
